Bespoke French property consultancy operating solely on behalf of private clients and investors.

Read our F.A.Q.

If a client wants an Interior Design consultation only, say of a few hours, I charge R1,800 per hour, the first hour being free of charge in order for the client to assess the "chemistry" between us. If a client wants us to proceed instead with designing a project, say for a library room or a kitchen, I charge a flat fee of R7,500. Should the client decide to go ahead with a project, both the consultation and/or the design fees are deductible from the last invoice. The designs are handed over to the client on payment of the project deposit.
It obviously depends on the size of the project. Finalising the design can take a few weeks if you include design revisions. From acceptance of a quote and payment of a deposit, manufacturing can take 6 to 8 weeks, depending how busy we are. Installation usually takes 1 to 2 weeks, again depending on the size and complexity of the project.
I subcontract the manufacture to specific cabinet makers and factories, depending on the type of design and skills required. For instance, a contemporary kitchen will require state of the art machinery whereas an elaborate free standing classic unit will be allocated to a specialised craftsman.
The design and the supervision of manufacturing and installation. Our technical drawings include specific plumbing and electrical drawings. We liaise with other subcontractors in order to ensure the smoothest possible installation process and the shortest possible lead times.
Minor revisions are not charged for and the design fees include 2 revisions, i.e. 3 sets of drawings.
